Looking at the length of ride home Sunday and the fact that the weather called for more thunders storms, we decided to break camp early.
We would do more dirt and interesting small side roads to fill both days.
Our ride took us from Nakusp via the little cable ferry to Spences Bridge. Full day of riding and arrived late into the night.
Most of the rain held off coming over the pass from needles. At the top of the pass we found a lake and made lunch.
Freeze dried dinner in a bag was in the menu. Boiling water, seal bag for 15 minute and dinner is served.
Now read the direction carefully. Not everything in the bag is part of the ingredient. The little white pouch is not flavoring. And the extra small letters that say “do not eat” should be a giveaway. But some of us just rip open and eat. Luckily I was able to stop him from eating it. Hahaha.
Riding can help bring things to a head. And it brought out some issues between us. There was silence for a long time and then our own thunder storm ending with 1 hour of “discussion” on the side of a dirt road. But that’s life and we understand each other much better.
Little creepy that we ended our trip that day at the baits motel. . (I know the spelling is different, but still)
